I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the best part of this job is getting to meet and work with people that I would’ve never had the opportunity to if I hadn’t followed my heart to pursue this career. No amount of money can replace the friendships I’ve made over the past couple of years. This is exactly how I feel about Fallon and her family. I got connected with Fallon a little over a month ago and we set up to shoot soon after. Fallon and her mom traveled from Nashville, TN for her session. I got a little kick out of Fallon when she arrived at the hotel here in Norton. Going from the people in Nashville to hardly anyone out here in Norton can be a shocker.
The following morning we met up at the studio with the amazing hair and make up artist Sherri Jessee. Over the next several hours we shot many different looks, from swimsuit to some vintage wardrobe that came from Fallon’s great aunt, June Carter. Yeah, you heard me right, she’s the great niece of Johnny Cash and June Carter. You might recognize Fallon from some country music videos that she’s been a part in. To name one, Jason Aldeans “Dirt Road Anthem.”
Fallon and I clicked right away as soon as we started shooting. She reminds me so much of me it’s not even funny. Fallon has an incredible personality and loves to laugh and have fun. That’s right up my alley. I honestly felt like this wasn’t the first time that I had met her. All I know is the whole day was action packed and I couldn’t have asked for a better time. We all had a blast and captured some amazing shots for her portfolio.
Fallon, thanks again to you and your mom for making the trip. I’m so thankful that all of us have developed such a great friendship and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. You guys mean the world to me and I’m getting so excited about coming down to Nashville in just a couple weeks to shoot with you again. You’re a special young lady that is beautiful inside and out. You’ve got a very bright future ahead of you and I’m looking forward to watching you run with it. Sending all the blessings in the world your way!!!
